Driver - Mike Skeen

Charlotte, North Carolina

Winning sports car racing driver Mike Skeen is in his third-consecutive season with Lone Star Racing in 2018. He co-drives the No. 80 ACS Manufacturing/Lone Star Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 with new team driver Scott Heckert, a pairing that has been immediately successful in 2018 Pirelli World Challenge SprintX GT Pro competition. Skeen and Heckert co-drove to three podium finishes in the year’s first four races, including a victory at VIRginia International Raceway (VIR) in April. The strong start to the year also saw Skeen drive the No. 80 to the pole for the season-opening Pirelli World Challenge SprintX GT race weekend at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) in March. Skeen and Heckert finished second and third in the COTA weekend’s races. Skeen has also seen some success co-driving with Lone Star Racing team owner and driver Dan Knox, with the duo scoring a second-place Pirelli World Challenge SprintX GT race finish at Laguna Seca in 2016. Skeen won his first-ever World Challenge GT race at Mid-Ohio in 2010 and has gone on to become a regular and winning driver in the series. @MikeSkeenRacing
